Celebrity Blackjack was a Blackjack Tournament held by the TV network GSN. The first Celebriy Blackjack tournament aired on July 5 and ran weekly through to August 9, 2004. The second tournament air on October 12, 2004 and ran weekly through to January 11, 2005.

The first Season consisted of 5 priliminary rounds of 5 celebrities in each round. Each celebrity was given $100,000 in chips. The minimum wager was $1000 and the maximum wager was $25,000 for the first ten hands. Starting with the 11 hand the minimum was raised to $5,000 and the maximum wager limit was removed. The last two hands all wagers were done in secret to add a level of suspense to the tournament.
The winner of each table advanced to the final table were they competed for the championship title and their charity.

To make the tournament more exciting, interesting and likely to get some rivalries going between the celebrities a number of jokers were shuffled into the deck and when they were dealt the receiving player was then able to exchange the joker for any unplayed card on the table. The player who loses a card is dealt a new card from the deck.
